There are flights to Faro from most principal airports in the UK
and operated by both major and discount airlines.
Although Quinta da Passarada is close to Faro and Almancil, it is in a
rural location and a car is desirable, unless you intend spending
most of the time at the house in which case you could use taxis.
The E01 (motorway) provides easy access to both the western and eastern Algarve
and on into Spain. There are numberous places of interest to visit both along the
Algarve coast and up into the hills of the Serra de Monchique and Serra do Caldeirao.
